    • Cost of Living Comparisons
      By Stocky · Posted
One of the most important things you need to understand before moving to a new country is how does the cost of living compare and will your income be enough to live comfortably. Recently we had the website Numbeo make an appearance which relies on residents of a town or city entering the cost of items where they live. The website combines the data and gives the average cost plus a set of ranges showing the cheapest to most expensive. You can then make comparisons between locations and get an understanding of average costs and the differences. Today I noticed an item on International living costs that linked to a new site for making comparisons Expatistan which seems to work in the same way, relying on contributions from local residents and expats. It's always good to have multiple sources of information on which to base life changing decisions. Are there any other similar or useful sites anyone knows of?
